plasma-widget-weatherforecast software package provides weather Plasma widget that shows the forecast and temperature, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plasma-widget-weatherforecast
plasma-widget-weatherforecast is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plasma-widget-weatherforecast package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plasma-widget-weatherforecast *
You will get with plasma-widget-weatherforecast package name, version, architecture and description in a table
